A chapter well read
For several summers, CHECH families spent June buried in books and July celebrating at the Popsicle Party. The program is on the shelf for now, but summer reading doesn't need a registration form. Below are the programs we recommend for keeping your family reading all season, and a look back at the tradition that started it.
Past program
The Popsicle Party years
Every July, readers gathered for awards and raffle prizes, games and storytelling, confession and Mass, and a great many popsicles. In its final summer, over a hundred children logged their four books and earned their certificates.
