CHECH Art Gallery: Single Visit

@ THE MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS, HOUSTON

A docent-led gallery visit through the MFAH permanent collection. Students are divided into groups by grade level, from StoryTime in the galleries for the youngest to inquiry-based discussion for older students: learning to look at art, reading its symbols, and considering the mind of the artist.

✦ May 21 · Plants across Galleries: gardens, still lifes, and the natural world in art as spring gives way to summer

✦ Tours begin at 11:00 am

✦ Groups by grade level, Kinder through 12th

✦ Not a drop-off excursion: a parent or guardian must attend as a chaperone (free)

✦ Siblings need their own registration, with grade level selected for each child

✦ $25 per student, one visit (non-members)

✦ $12.50 per student, members: register through the member discounts page

✦ Enjoy the permanent collection free as a family afterwards
