A day of quiet renewal built around Adoration, Confession, and Mass, with four talks to encourage you in your vocation. This is a retreat, not a conference. Registration is $6, with an optional Piada boxed lunch. Scholarships are available: see below.

SPEAKERS

Fr. Daniel Alloy, FSSP, was homeschooled and raised in Nebraska, where he also attended seminary. He now serves at Regina Caeli Parish in Houston.

Fr. Jonathan Moré, a homeschool graduate of Holy House Academy, is pastor of St. Jerome in Houston. He studied Fundamental Theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome.

Stephanie Block homeschooled her seven children, all faithful and practicing Catholics, including a priest and a Dominican Sister. A convert under her godmother Alice von Hildebrand, she is an author, painter, and parishioner at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Walsingham.

GOOD TO KNOW

Lunch: Boxed lunches from Piada, ordered with registration by Wednesday, August 26. The $20 boxed lunch offers a choice of Steak and Avocado Piada, Chicken Pesto Piada, or Farmers Market Salad with grilled chicken. The $22 Vegan/Gluten-Friendly Power Bowl (larger size this year) features a harissa grain blend, hummus, sweet potatoes, corn and tomatoes, broccoli cucumber salad, pickled red onions, and yogurt harissa; it is prepared in a facility that processes gluten, so the box is labeled gluten friendly.

Moms with babies: There is room to walk with strollers, and a thick blanket on the floor for little ones and their toys. Nursing babies are always welcome.

Joining from home: If you cannot come in person, select the Zoom option at registration. You can switch to Zoom later if plans change.

Share your group: A table in the back will hold flyers for homeschool events and activities. Bring information about your groups for others to take home.

Give a little more: Registration is set at $6, but you are welcome to give more. Every bit helps make this retreat, and future ones, possible.
