Do you have a school patron saint? A family patron saint? An annual patron saint? Consider adding one! Many Catholic families choose a saint to intercede for their household—someone whose life and virtues inspire the whole family throughout the year. Some families draw a saint's name on New Year's Day or the feast of Epiphany; others choose a patron connected to their family's story, struggles, or aspirations. Whether you're discerning a lifelong family patron or adopting a saint for 2026, inviting the communion of saints into your domestic church is a beautiful way to grow in faith together.
Senior Scholarship
The 2026 CHECH Senior Scholarship is now accepting applications! Two winners will each receive $1,000. This year's essay (500–650 words) asks seniors to reflect on how the "Great Conversation" has shaped their home education and prepared them for the next chapter.
