The Good Shepherd
This Sunday the Church gives us the image we return to again and again — Christ the Good Shepherd, who knows his sheep by name and lays down his life for them. It is also the World Day of Prayer for Vocations, a day the Church asks us to pray for priests, religious, and all who are discerning how God is calling them. For homeschooling parents, this image cuts close to home. We are not the Shepherd — but we are the ones he has asked to tend these particular lambs, in this particular fold, for a time. We know their voices. We know which ones wander and which ones freeze. We know when they're hungry for something we haven't yet figured out how to feed them. The Good Shepherd doesn't drive his flock from behind. He walks ahead of them, and they follow because they know his voice. That's the model. Walk ahead. Let them see your faith before you teach it. And trust the Shepherd who tends you while you tend them.

Spring Showcase & Graduation — May 30, 2026 at UST

Bread of Life Homeschoolers (The Woodlands & Surrounding Areas)
Bread of Life is a Catholic homeschool network covering The Woodlands and surrounding areas, connecting families through a free Flocknote community for communication, resource sharing, and coordinating activities. Their programming includes monthly First Friday Mass and Park Days following the liturgical calendar, Mom's Faith and Fellowship nights, and monthly clubs for middle and high schoolers.
